Seedling Stands
When growing seedlings under cover, after determining the seedling and space requirements, the required seedling growing area is calculated. Large structures and compartments can be divided into sectors with plastic or polycarbonate partition walls. However, the ventilation and heating of each compartment should be adjusted separately. After the seedling growing work is completed, this area can be used for another purpose.
In viol seedling growing, there is a need for tables or shelf arrangements on which seedling containers will be placed. The width of the tables to be placed on the sides of the greenhouses should generally be 1.10 m and the width of those to be placed in the middle should be 2.20 m. The road width should be set as 80 cm. In this way, the transportation of seedling containers becomes easier. In addition, these greenhouses can also be used in vegetable growing after the seedling growing work is completed. This flexibility helps to optimize greenhouse use and provide farmers with the opportunity to grow different products.
