The overhead irrigation system is called "Boom" and is generally used in areas where seedlings are grown. Similar to open field irrigation systems, this system provides homogeneous irrigation on the growing trays of seedlings or dwarf plants in the greenhouse. This method is used to keep the humidity level in the greenhouse at an optimal level; it is also used to reduce the internal temperature of the greenhouses during hot periods and to maintain the temperature inside the greenhouse by creating a thin layer of ice on the upper surface during cold periods. In addition, nutrients added to the system or chemicals used to protect the plants can be applied to the plants through this system. The irrigation system includes equipment used to water the seedlings by moving on a double rail system equipped with a reducer and a pulley rope.
