One of the systems used in greenhouses to provide the humidity needed by the plant and to reduce the indoor temperature of the greenhouse is the fogging method. There are two main methods: high pressure fogging and low pressure fogging.
In the high pressure fogging system, chrome pipes are used to thin the water droplets on a micron basis and a pressure of 70 bar is applied. In this way, no water residue is left on the plant and the moisture needs of the plants are met.
In the low pressure fogging system, polyethylene pipes are generally used and a maximum pressure of 6-7 bar is applied. This system is more economical and easier to install.
In addition, there are fogging systems with higher pressures such as 110 bar depending on the need. These systems are used to control the humidity level in the greenhouse and to ensure that the plants grow healthily.
