SINAN KILIC -ADANA - BANANA GREENHOUSE

Objective: This project encompasses the Sinan Kılıç Banana Production Facility on a 50,000 m² area in Adana. The aim is to increase banana production using modern agricultural techniques and promote sustainable farming practices, particularly suitable for Adana's warm climate conditions.

Vision: Adana, a region in Turkey known for its warm climate, aims through this project to leverage its climatic advantage for high-quality banana production and sustainable farming practices. The project aims to contribute to the local economy by employing modern technology in banana cultivation.

Adana's Climate and Banana Characteristics:

1. Climate: Adana is characterized by a climate close to the Mediterranean. Summers are hot and dry, while winters are mild, creating a suitable environment for banana cultivation.
2. Banana Characteristics: Banana plants thrive in warm and humid climates, with an ideal growth temperature between 27-30 °C. Additionally, banana plants require high humidity levels.

Creating Climate in the Greenhouse:

1. Shading Systems: Sun shading systems are utilized in the greenhouse to provide shade for banana plants when necessary.
2. Greenhouse Heating and Cooling: Heating and cooling systems are integrated into the greenhouse to regulate internal temperatures.
3. Humidity Control: Systems for controlling humidity within the greenhouse are employed to ensure high humidity levels.
4. Greenhouse Climate Control: Automatic climate control systems are used to automatically adjust temperature, humidity, and other factors.
